At Hare's Garage, we know it can be daunting to take your vehicle to the garage, so we always aim to provide friendly, approachable service with thorough, quality workmanship.

We’re a family-run garage providing the quality of work you’d get at a main dealer, with the relaxed-but-professional environment you can only get at an independent garage.

Our workshop in Carthorpe, Bedale, is fully equipped with everything we need to work on most makes and models, including EVs and hyrbids. We can service according to manufacturer schedules and recommendations which means that you can bring your vehicle to us, even if it’s still within its warranty period, and your warranty will be preserved.

If your car is a bit older (we work on classics too!), we offer our in-house levels of Interim, Full and Major, which we recommend alternating between at 12-month/12,000-mile intervals.

Once the service is complete, we’ll update the paper or online servicing record, depending on which applies to your make and model.

Hare's Garage can be found with easy reach of all the villages surrounding Bedale, including Leeming and Masham, or via the A6055 heading south from the Northallerton junction on the A1(M). There is plenty of customer car parking, and we have a waiting area with refreshments, WC, and free Wi-Fi. We also offer our local customers a collection and delivery service, subject to availability.
