If your Mercedes is still under its manufacturer warranty, that warranty will be preserved because we can service according to the Mercedes servicing schedule and following their recommendations. This means that you get all the advantages of a dealer-level or specialist service, with the personal service you only get at an independent garage like Hare's Garage.
For older Mercedes vehicles, we offer our in-house servicing levels of Interim, Full and Major, which we recommend alternating every 12 months or 12,000 miles. When your service is complete, we’ll update your paper or online service record too.
Vehicle Health Check
A visual inspection of the vehicle is carried out. Any areas of concern are recorded and required repairs are prioritised. Dents/scrapes are recorded. Advisories (things that have been noted, but do not require immediate action) are also recorded.

Service Includes:
- An initial test drive of the vehicle
- A vehicle health check
- Coolant checked and topped up if necessary
- Screenwash checked and topped up if necessary
- Brake fluid checked and topped up if necessary
- Locks and latches are lubricated
- The battery is tested
- All wheels are removed, and the hubs are cleaned and greased as required. The condition of the wheel nuts is checked. Wheels are re-fitted and
- torqued in line with manufacturer specification.
- The service light in the vehicle is reset
- The service book is stamped and recorded/ the digital service history is updated if appropriate
- A final test drive of the vehicle to make sure any faults/noises have changed

Service Includes:
- All components of an Interim Service
- The cabin filter is replaced
Where Advised:
- A front brake service – the front brakes are stripped, cleaned and re-greased
- A rear brake service – the rear brakes are stripped, cleaned, re-greased and adjusted
- The differential oils and transfer oils are renewed
