We’re thorough in our work and friendly in our approach, so when you bring your TVR to Hare's Garage in Bedale, you’ll find a friendly team who are happy to take you through the whole process and answer any questions you may have. Not only that, but all our work is done to the highest standards and at a fair price.
We can service your TVR in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations and schedule, or if you prefer, we offer our in-house servicing levels of Interim, Full and Major, which we recommend alternating every 12 months or 12,000 miles. When your service is complete, we’ll update your service record too.
Vehicle Health Check
A visual inspection of the vehicle is carried out. Any areas of concern are recorded and required repairs are prioritised. Dents/scrapes are recorded. Advisories (things that have been noted, but do not require immediate action) are also recorded.

Service Includes:
- An initial test drive of the vehicle
- A vehicle health check
- An engine oil, oil filter, oil sump plug and washer change
- Levels check and topped up if necessary include:
- Coolant
- Oil
- Screenwash
- Brake fluid
- Locks and latches are lubricated
- The battery is tested
- All wheels are removed, and the hubs are cleaned and greased as required. The condition of the wheel nuts is checked. Wheels are re-fitted and torqued in line with manufacturer specification.
- The service light in the vehicle is re-set
- The service book is stamped and recorded/ the digital service history is updated if appropriate
- Whether a timing belt (cambelt) change is due is checked and noted
- A final test drive of the vehicle to make sure any faults/noises have changed
Full
Service Includes:
- All components of an Interim Service
- The air filter is replaced
- The fuel filter and/or spark plugs are replaced
- The cabin filter is replaced
- A fuel system cleaner is used if appropriate
- The engine is flushed if appropriate
Where Advised:
- A front brake service – the front brakes are stripped, cleaned and re-greased
- A rear brake service – the rear brakes are stripped, cleaned, re-greased and adjusted
- The differential oils and transfer oils are renewed
